We are all on a mission from God!
What does that mean to you?
Jesus shows us how to live our lives.
Jesus shows us that we need to forgive, serve, be aware of others needs
and above all love one another.
Jesus shows us that we need to take time to pray;
alone and with others.
This is how we live the mission from God and how we continue the work that Jesus began.

and ask for courage to live this mission.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful. And kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And you will renew the face of the earth. Lord, by the light of the Holy Spirit you have taught the hearts of your faithful. In the same Spirit help us to relish what is right and always rejoice in your consolation. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. |
John 13:34-35
I give you a new commandment: love one another.
As I have loved you,
so you also should love one
another.
This is how all will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another

Saints:
Saints are people who are able to live their lives in line with God's plan.
Jesus first learned to love and treat others with respect from Mary and Joseph in their family home at Nazareth and in his relationship with his family, friends and community.
As we try to live like Easter People, following the example of Jesus like the disciples after Pentecost, it may help us to think of others who have lived good and holy lives as followers of Jesus.
Some of these people we call Saints heroes, or role models.
Spend 5 minutes sharing some stories of people who inspire you or who you look up to and have learned things from.
