As Catholics we believe that the Bible is inspired by the
Holy Spirit. God did not dictate the words by whispering into the ears of the authors, but God guided the authors and guided the history to tell us this story of love and life. The Bible is the Word of God it explains our relationship with God and how we can live our best lives. God's Word lives it animates, and it inspires those who welcome it. |

The bible is like a road map that helps us navigate all the bumps and ups and downs that we come across in our everyday relationships and experiences.
To live our best lives, to live holy lives
we need to understand what God wants for us,
not just check-off a list of good deeds.
We need to be motivated by a desire to serve God
and to be like Jesus.
With God and through the bible we are able to transform our lives so our attitudes and our actions reflect God's will.
So, it's important we become familiar with the messages of the bible and know what the bible says.
