This is a great video that explains clearly what justice is ...
If we follow the path of God's justice we can transform our world!
We can make our world more fair.
Fairness in the way responsibilities are shared.Fairness in the social, economic and political structures we have created.Unfair treatment of individuals or communities hurts human dignity, all members of society should enjoy.Jesus himself was well aware of the power of little moments. He would constantly use small, everyday encounters to heal those he met offering them a different way of life. |
Fairness in our dealings with other people.Fairness in how we share money and power in our society.Fairness in these structures and systems so that all people can be active and participants in the life of community.St Mother Teresa says, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love."We too are called to do our part, however small, to bring fairness and hope into our world. |
My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways
(Isaiah 55:8).
(Isaiah 55:8).
How often do we try and fit God into our ways and thoughts?
We may think that we can lead people to love and justice through threats, anger, guilt or punishment.
But this doesn't work!

But this doesn't work!
This method doesn't change the deepest part of our hearts.
We cannot lead people to live a loving, just life by teaching them with unjust, unfair ways.
We are asked to be like God and to show others how to live differently through living loving just lives ourselves.
